Laundry with eco credentials
Sustainability considerations can now make the difference between getting the big tender – or not. Commercial providers bidding for public-sector work are increasingly required to use products certified with the EU Ecolabel and ideally with low or no GHS label. Many providers also promote their own sustainability programs, claiming energy and water saving. Certified products help to protect the environment through responsible sourcing, less waste and pollution throughout the complete lifecycle. Yet a commitment to the environment doesn’t create room for compromise on washing results or hygiene.
BASF provides ingredients – also CLP label-free – for commercial laundry detergents that are on a par with traditional products in terms of performance, particularly in modern energy- and water-saving machines.
